Well... Basically, its not working. Its a z23 1990 we have had previous wiring issues so i assume it has something to do with the transmission harness. Im not 100% sure on this though. The sensor is not broken or at least wasnt to begin with, it would work fine, shift fine as long as my transmission light came on and went off, sometimes it wouldn't come on so i would just unplug it and carry on. Usually i could get it to work by putting it in neutral while the car was off letting it set, or moving the shifter back a forth then turning the key. As of now the yellow light wont turn off and it wont shift unless i do it manually, also it is unplugged durring this, otherwise it wont shift at all. So my dad says one thing i say another and i dont know wtf to do. I have an entire 93 z for parts so i have whatever i need to fix it but i would really appreciate some input if anyone could tell me what they think. Going to a regular mechanic is not to good for me because they will see tits and fuck my car up. Im no pro mechanic but i do know quite a bit and am working on learning, please help if you can. One other small detail, my car has been known to leak a small bit of tranny fluid, and its about 90% stock
